At the playground
Jeffrey has found the adrenaline rush, he is a thrill seeker, if he had it his way there would be no need for mom and dad at the playground except to cheer him on. No toddler park for him -he goes for the big kid slides. Which is fine when mom and dad are there or another parent to help catch but when its mom alone I just cant get to the top to make sure he doesnt go over the edge and bottom to help him up the ladders qiick enough, and he has no fear in climbing up alone despite unpredictable ballance and judgement as to where he should go. He has also learned that its fun to go on your tummy face first. Its funny b/c we go with Mary Beth, 6 months his senior, but you really see the male/female difference when it comes to the adventure seeking.
So here are some photos from this past weekend at one of the local parks.
"Look what I have learned since the last time daddy"
"I got it, I dont need help"
"Whee"
And down he goes-no worries he was back climbing to the top in seconds

What a little dare-devil he is! He looks like he's having a great time! We're scouting out all of the parks here. Is it possible he's ready for the SK8 park?
Hugs, Grandma and Grandpa
Jeffrey and Deagan are going to have a great time this summer! Two peas in a pod...I'm sure:)
