jeffrey comments- disapointed in his parents/growing up

scene: dinner @ kitchen table, Brian and the kids
J: "look at my face daddy"
B: "Yes Jeffrey"
J: "Im mad daddy, do you see my face" (said with a gruff voice in response to not getting desired food until dinner was eaten)

scene: hallway getting ready to go to the park and being asked to go potty
J: "you are not my best friend anymore mommy"
A: "Im sorry to hear that Jeffrey you still need to do as mommy asks, mommys job is not to be your friend but your mommy"
J: "Im disapointed mommy, Thomas is now my best friend and you are not"

relayed said story to brian when he got home, he promptly gave me a high five with the satement "welcome to parenthood"
