Why he got to see the fireworks: Jeffrey was taken to see the fireworks-just him and dad, he explained to brian that he as well as all the other people who were out seeing fireworks was because they had been good listeners and made good choices, and that all of the people who were at home were there b/c they had made bad choices and didnt get to see them.
